Every direction is a state machine: listening, processing, playing. Translation gets a 3.5 s budget to reach the first audio byte; past it, the original speech is spoken instead of freezing the call. There is never silence.

Trusted contact network

Contacts are set up long before anything happens and stored server-side, so they survive a lost or broken phone. When a call comes in, the people who would want to know are already on the list.

Report delivery that reaches anyone

Contacts with the app get a native push and a map. Everyone else gets WhatsApp, SMS or email with a short-lived signed link to a lightweight viewer — map included. Location travels as a real map pin, not a bare link.

The family report is written from scratch for a family audience — what happened, where, that help is on the way. It carries no transcript, no confidence scores and no clinical detail; those exist only in the operator's copy.

From the first word to the report, in one continuous flow.

The caller, the dispatcher and the AI interpreter all join the same real-time room. Understanding the emergency and notifying the support network run alongside the call — never in front of it.

Before anything happens: set up your circle

In the app's settings you add your trusted contacts and ask each one to send a quick opt-in message on WhatsApp. That is real, explicit consent — recorded before the emergency, not improvised during it — and it is what lets a message reach them the moment it matters.

The call opens

The Android app joins a real-time room together with the dispatcher's web console and the AI interpreter. Each participant subscribes only to the audio meant for them, so nobody hears the wrong side of the conversation.

Speech is transcribed, translated by a model instructed to act as a strict interpreter — it never answers, advises or asks anything of its own — and spoken back with a low-latency voice. Negations, names, numbers and places are preserved exactly.

The emergency is understood in parallel

A second model reads the running transcript and extracts emergency type, people affected, location and active hazards, with a confidence score on every field. It runs beside the interpreter and can never slow it down.

An early alert goes out mid-call

Once location clears 0.75 confidence and emergency type clears 0.70 — both holding steady across two extraction passes, and never before 12 s into the call — a short alert is sent: what happened, where, and that emergency services are already on the line.

Two reports close the loop

On hangup AuXio writes two plain-text reports: the operator's, with per-field confidence, dispatch data and the full bilingual transcript — and the family's, written separately, in the caller's own language, with none of that. Each goes out over its contact's channel.

Safeguards & scope

AuXio informs. It never instructs.

A tool that speaks during an emergency has to be honest about where its role ends. These limits are deliberate, and they are visible on every screen and in every message AuXio produces.

    No medical guidance, ever

    Reports and alerts describe the situation. They never generate, suggest or relay a medical procedure for a family member to perform. Instructions come from the professionals on the call.

    The interpreter only interprets

    The translation agent is constrained to faithful interpretation. It does not offer opinions, does not answer on the caller's behalf, and does not ask questions of its own.

  • visibility_lock
    Consent first, minimum data after

    Nobody is contacted without having opted in beforehand. Each recipient sees only the fields their role justifies, through links that are signed and short-lived rather than permanently public.
